但愿我有翅膀象鸽子，我就飞去得享安息（诗55：6）。 日头出来的时候， 神安排炎热的东风，日头爆晒约拿的头，使他发昏，他就为自己求死，说：我死了比活着还好（拿4：8）。 约伯说：受患难的人为何有光赐给他呢？心中愁苦的人为何有生命赐给他呢？他们切望死，却不得死；求死，胜于求隐藏的珍宝（伯3：2，20，21）。 义人多有苦难，但耶和华救他脱离这一切（诗34：19）。 我现在心里忧愁，我说什么才好呢？父啊，救我脱离这时候（约12：27）。所以，他凡事该与他的弟兄相同，为要在 神的事上成为慈悲忠信的大祭司，为百姓的罪献上挽回祭。他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：17，18）。 Oh that I had wings like a dove！ for then would I fly away； and be at rest。

我们务必竭力进入那安息（来4：11）。 你们要进窄门。因为引到灭亡，那门是宽的，路是大的，进去的人也多；引到永生，那门是窄的，路是小的，找着的人也少（太7：13，14）。天国是努力进入的，努力的人就得着了（太11：12）。不要为那必坏的食物劳力，要为那存到永生的食物劳力，就是人子要赐给你们的（约6：27）。 应当更加殷勤，使你们所蒙的恩召和拣选坚定不移。这样，必叫你们丰丰富富地得以进入我们主救主耶稣基督永远的国（彼后1：10，11）。你们也当这样跑，好叫你们得着奖赏。凡较力争胜的，诸事都有节制，他们不过是要得能坏的冠冕；我们却是要得不能坏的冠冕（林前9：24，25）。那进入安息的，乃是歇了自己的工，正如 神歇了他的工一样（来4：10）。耶和华要作你永远的光，你 神要为你的荣耀（赛60：19）。 Let us labour to enter into that rest。 Enter ye in at the strait gate： for wide is the gate； and broad is the way； that leadeth to destruction： 。。。 strait is the gate； and narrow is the way； which leadeth unto life； and few there be that find it。 — The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence； and the violent take it by force。 — Labour not for the meat which perisheth； but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life； which the Son of man shall give unto you。 — Give diligence to make your calling and election sure： 。。。 for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ。 — So run； that ye may obtain。 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things。 Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown； but we an incorruptible。 For he that is entered into his rest； he also hath ceased from his own works； as God did from his。 — The LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light； and thy God thy glory。

你的名要叫以色列，因为你与 神与人较力，都得了胜（创32：28）。 壮年的时候与 神较力；与天使较力并且得胜，哭泣恳求（何12：3，4）。仰望 神的应许，总没有因不信，心里起疑惑，反倒因信，心里得坚固，将荣耀归给 神（罗4：20）。
你们当信服 神。我实在告诉你们：无论何人对这座山说：你挪开此地，投在海里！他若心里不疑惑，只信他所说的必成，就必给他成了。所以我告诉你们：凡你们祷告祈求的，无论是什么，只要信是得着的，就必得着（可11：22…24）。你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能（可
